Privacy Policy

The short version

We use your details to sell you a recliner and deliver it to your door. We do not sell your information, we do not run ads that follow you around, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking. That has been our approach since day one, and the Data Protection Act, 2019 simply asks us to write it down.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, phone number, email (optional), town or estate, and any delivery notes you give us at checkout.
• Order records: what you bought, the amount, the payment method and the order status.
• Conversation records: messages you send us on WhatsApp or by phone, so we can confirm orders and support you after delivery.

How we use it

• To confirm, deliver and set up your order.
• To take payment and send you receipts or order updates.
• To help you after delivery: warranty questions, spare parts, transport for your order.

We never sell or rent your details, and we never share them with advertisers.

Payments

M-Pesa payments are processed by Safaricom, and card payments are processed by Flutterwave. Your card number never reaches us and is not stored on this website. If you pay on delivery, your details are used only to arrange the delivery and confirm payment.

What we share, and with whom

For deliveries outside Nairobi we work with transport partners. They receive what is needed to complete the delivery: your name, phone number and delivery point. Nothing else. We also share the minimum necessary with our payment providers to process your payment, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

This website stores your cart in your own browser (local storage) and uses a session cookie so the cart and checkout work. We use no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no tracking pixels. You can clear both from your browser settings at any time without losing your order history with us.

How long we keep records

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounts, tax and after-sales support. If you ask us to delete your details and no law requires us to keep them, we will delete them.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner if you are not satisfied with our answer.
